Growing up in a humble family in the Philippines, my idea of success always revolved around two paths: going abroad for a well paying job or getting lucky enough to start a business. Both of these, however, require significant resources, effort, and commitment—things I feel I may not have in abundance at the moment.
Recently, though, I’ve seen and heard countless success stories across social media platforms about people thriving as virtual assistants. These inspiring and motivating narratives have opened my eyes to the possibility of achieving success without the need to go overseas or rely on luck to establish a business. They’ve given me hope that perhaps one day, I too can reach my own version of success as a virtual assistant.
This spark of hope has lingered in my mind because I’ve been eager to break free from my current situation—working tirelessly for a company that barely provides enough to get by. Every day, I force myself to wake up early, despite being a night owl, only to endure the daily grind of traffic and the scorching heat. My goal is to escape this exhausting cycle and create a better, brighter future.
With these thoughts in mind, I am determined to venture into the world of virtual assistance. I know it won’t be easy, but I am prepared for the challenges ahead. I believe that with hard work and dedication, I can achieve something great. My dreams of success are engraved in both my heart and mind, and I am ready to chase them as I step into this new chapter of my life.
